CENTRO EC inline centrifugal fans provide supply or extract ventilation for commercial and residential buildings. Each combines a high-efficiency EC motor with a backward-curved impeller and an impact-resistant ABS casing. Six models cover 100–315 mm circular ductwork, with maximum airflow up to 1,500 m³/h (417 l/s).
Use an external 0–10 V controller to set the fan speed, or connect a compatible building management system for automatic adjustment. Mounting brackets are included; the controller and ductwork are supplied separately.

ABS CASING
Impact-resistant, corrosion-free casing
The moulded ABS housing has circular duct connections and an external terminal box. Unit protection is IPX4; motor protection is IP44.

Two mounting brackets support floor, wall or ceiling fixing. The fan can be installed horizontally or vertically, following the user guide.
Ducted ventilation for workplaces and homes
CENTRO EC provides ducted supply or extract ventilation for offices, shops, communal washrooms and homes. Its backward-curved centrifugal impeller moves air against the resistance of ducts, bends and grilles. Published airflow, sound and dimensional data support fan selection.

Floor, wall or ceiling mounting gives you more choice over the fan position. Two brackets are supplied, and the casing can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The external terminal box and removable cover provide access for wiring and cleaning. Overall dimensions for each model are listed below.

Six sizes, with 160 mm covered
The standard range covers 100, 125, 150, 200, 250 and 315 mm duct connections. CENTRO EC 150 also accepts 160 mm ductwork, giving stockists one product reference for both sizes. Every fan comes with two mounting brackets, fixing screws and dowels, and the user guide. Controllers, sensors and ductwork are separate items.

Run the fan at the airflow you need
Ventilation demand can change as rooms fill up or empty. With a compatible external controller, CENTRO EC can increase or reduce fan speed in response. A sensor controller can respond to conditions such as CO₂ or humidity; a BMS can set speed to a building schedule. Those controls are separate from the fan.

How the 0–10 V speed control works
A separate EC speed controller sets the fan speed through its 0–10 V input. For automatic adjustment, a compatible sensor controller or building management system (BMS) can supply that signal instead. For example, an external CO₂ or humidity controller can vary speed as conditions change. The standard fan has no built-in room sensor or user speed control.
Installation essentials
- 1-phase, 50/60 Hz mains supply. Electrical installation must follow the rating label and EC wiring diagram and be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- Horizontal installation requires at least 1 m of straight intake duct. For vertical installation, fit the intake-side protective hood specified in the user guide.
- Follow the airflow arrow on the casing and leave access to the terminal box and removable cover.
Inspection and maintenance
The EC motor has thermal protection with automatic restart. Isolate the electrical supply before opening or cleaning the fan. Inspect and clean it at least every six months, following the user guide.

Maximum airflow is the catalogue maximum, not the airflow at every installed duty. Select from the fan curve at the required airflow and system resistance. Sound figures are sound pressure levels at 3 m; room noise depends on the duty and installation.
